The Ohio Federation of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (OFSWCD). The OFSWCD meets to determine the legislative needs, action items, and makes recommendations on these issues.  Training and development programs are also held to addresss current topics of concern or other issues necessary to better serve the distric staff and constituency of the community.

The Farm Service Agency (FSA) assists farmers with loan and purchase programs, crop insurance, emergency relief and conservation.

The National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) is a network of SWCDs across the nation. Check out links to other county SWCD websites.

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) provides federal and technical support to county SWCD offices (i.e. conservation planning, standards for many land conservation practices, federal program administration and day-to-day operations support).

The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) Division of Soil and Water Conservation provides administrative and technical support for county SWCDs. ODNR promotes the Agricultural Pollution Abatement Program and environmental awareness through conservation education programs.

Ohio Division of Wildlife is our wildlife management partner.  We work closely with the wildlife officer and wildlife biologist in Union County.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency(Ohio EPA) is the state authority on water quality and a valuable resource for information on the quality of our streams.
