Meeting with the Union County Board of Commissioners
The Union County Board of Commissioners meets every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 8:30 a.m. The Board recommends that citizens wishing to address the Commissioners contact the Clerk of the Board at 937-645-3012, to arrange a time on their schedule. The topic to be addressed should also be provided. Such meetings should be scheduled in advance but if time allows, the Commissioners will allow citizen comments/discussions at their discretion.
All vendors and solicitations must be made through the office of the County Commissioners.
The Open Meetings Act mandates that all meetings of the County Commissioners are open to the public, unless in executive session, however the Act does not necessarily provide attendees the right to be heard at meetings.

The Union County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed Statements of Qualifications for a Facility Assessment and Space Study of several designated buildings and one proposed building in Union County.
The complete project description and instructions for submitting a Statement of Qualifications is available at Board offices, 233 West Sixth Street, 1st Floor, Marysville, Ohio, during regular office hours, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding legal holidays.
Statements of Qualifications must be received by Monday, November 7, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. Statements may be submitted electronically to email@example.com or delivered to Randy Riffle, 233 West Sixth Street, Marysville, Ohio, 43040. Vendors are NOT required to submit both formats.
Responsive Statements will be reviewed, scored, and ranked by members of a Selection Committee. The Selection Committee may hold discussions with individual vendors to explore further the vendors’ statements of qualifications, the scope and nature of the services the vendors would provide, and the various technical approaches the vendors may take toward the project. The County will then negotiate a contract with the vendor ranked most qualified; the County may negotiate with lower ranked vendors if negotiations with higher ranked vendors are unsuccessful.
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to cancel at any time for any reason this solicitation, any portion of this solicitation, or any phase of the Project. The Board reserves the right to waive minor variation in the selection process.
