Adult Basic and Literacy Education is a local, state, and federally funded program; therefore, there is no charge to the participants. ABLE instructors provide learning opportunities to persons who wish to learn to read, write, spell, and do math as well as opportunities to improve skills in these areas. Those who would like to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma may study for the GED test.
