At Union County, we believe the health and wellness of our employees and their families is a top priority. To demonstrate this commitment to well-being, all employees and their spouses are invited to actively participate in the CEBCO Wellness Program and engage in healthy lifestyle programming activities and events. Union County employees (and enrolled spouses) who successfully completed the 2017 Wellness Program will be eligible for a 10% healthcare premium reduction for 2018 (the County will pay 85% and Employees will pay 15% of premium cost). This is a savings of over $2,500 per year for employees on the Family medical plan! NOTE: premium savings will vary depending on which plan has been elected (Employee, Employee/Spouse, Employee/Child(ren), Family). Participants in the CEBCO Wellness Program are also eligible for prize drawings throughout the year.
Be sure to attend county-sponsored events to win! Check this site frequently as details about wellness events/activities will continue to be added. -
2018 CEBCO WELLNESS PROGRAM
The 2018 Wellness Program kicks off November 1, 2017 and will run through October 1, 2018. To complete the 2018 CEBCO Wellness Program (and earn discounted health insurance premiums in 2019), employees AND covered spouses must earn a total of 600 wellness points, which consists of one (1) required activity worth 300 points (a Health Evaluation, which includes a health questionnaire and biometric screening) and a combination of elective activities. Employees and spouses will manage and track wellness points through individual portal accounts, which will be available for setup after November 1, 2017. As always, employees will be able to self-report any wellness activities that are completed in October. The Union County Wellness Committee will continue to host wellness events and activities throughout the year, including a Health Fair on October 25, 2017, onsite health screenings in early 2018, lunch and learns, and a summer Wellness Fair.
WELLNESS ACTIVITIES & EVENTS
Numberous health and benefit representatives will be on hand at this year's health fair event. Light refreshments will also be provided and door prizes will be awarded! As always, spouses are welcome to attend.
