Records Center,  Archives and Law Library

Effective Thursday, July 7, 2020, the Union County Records Center & Archives and Union County Law Library reading room is open to the public, Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Union County Auditor

While our office is currently Open to the public, because of COVID-19, we are mindful of public health concerns and urge the public to call or email our office. Additionally, an Auditor’s Office document drop-off/pickup-up area has been setup in the building.

Please call (937-645-3003) during our normal business hours (M-F 8:30am-4:00pm) or email (auditor@co.union.oh.us) our office if you have any questions, concerns, or need to conduct other business with our office. There will be a staff member available to assist you.

Union County Chamber of Commerce

Effective 07-07-20:

  1. The office is currently open to the public, Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Closed on Fridays.
  2. In-person meetings are permitted as long as face coverings are worn and/or social distancing is practiced.
  3. Some Chamber Division and Association meetings are being held in person and some virtually. Please contact the office at 937-642-6279 to check the status.
  4. The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) of Union County class is moving forward and will graduate later this year.
  5. The Marysville Entrepreneurial Center (MEC) is open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.

Clerk of Courts Office-Common Pleas Court

No longer accepting walk in customers with cash payments for court costs. Please utilize our online payment method, our phone in method or mail a check, money order or cashier’s check to the address listed below. Please remember to write your case number on your check for proper credit.

Union County Clerk Of Courts Title Division Offices

Revised Hours Set for June 8, 2020

The Clerk of Courts Auto Title Departments will follow the social distancing precautions put in place by the CDC and will also limit the number of customers in our lobbies.

The Marysville Title office will allow no more than 6 people in the lobby at any given time.

The 161 Branch Title office location will allow no more than 5 people in the lobby at any given time.

  • Customers will be asked to wait at the designated spots outside the offices. No customers will be permitted to sit in our lobbies.
  • Customers are encouraged to pay by check or credit/debit card.
  • Customers also may obtain their title via the mail in process.
  • Masks are recommended but NOT required for the public; as well as using their own ink pen to fill out the title assignments and applications.

8am- 10am: Dealer and Financial Institutions title work processed.  Any title work dropped off after 10 am each day will be processed in order received. Staff will call dealership when title work is completed.

8:30 am- 4:00 pm Office open to the general public

Commissioner's Office

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 PM

Our Office will reopen to the public 06-15-20, we STRONGLY encourage all visitors to wear a face covering. The Board of Commissioners will continue to hold Session meetings via Zoom, you may access the Boards current Agenda on our Meeting Schedule page.

Until our office reopens, if in person access can be postponed, please do so. Many business activities can be conducted using technology. Please schedule appointments for necessary in person access to the Commissioners Offices. To do so, please either call 937-645-3012 or email khiggins@co.union.oh.us.

County Engineer

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Union County Human Services 

Human Services’ lobby along with the OhioMeansJobs Union County lobby are now open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Clients are encouraged to schedule an appointment if requesting a face-to-face meeting. We are still encouraging clients to access our services from home. Instructions are available by clicking this link .

Please note: Social distancing and face coverings are required if you choose to enter our lobby.

OSU Extension Offices

OSU Extension Union County office is open 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm Monday-Thursday, or by appointment.

Not all staff are in the office each day so please call ahead for specific requests.

Union County Court of Common Pleas Probate & Juvenile Division 

The Probate and Juvenile Clerks’ Offices are open for court business only; anyone without specific business in the Courthouse is discouraged from visiting.  The public is welcome to call the Court at (937) 645-3029 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. for guidance; Probate and Juvenile Court staff will be available by telephone and email, mail will be received, and clerks’ offices will remain open to receive filings.  The Probate Clerk’s Office will process Marriage License applications. Please see our Marriage License  web page for more details

Most hearings scheduled from March 16, 2020 to June 1, 2020 are continued if Ohio law otherwise allows. See the orders for the Probate Division and Juvenile Division for more details. To the extent possible, hearings that are not continued will be held either telephonically or by video conference. Questions about whether proceedings have been continued should be directed to the Probate & Juvenile Court by calling the number above.

The Juvenile Probation Department, located at 18000 St. Rt. 4, Suite D, Marysville, OH 43040, may be accessed by appointment only with a probation officer.

To protect your health and the health of our prosecutors, advocates, investigators and staff, the Union County Prosecutors Office has adopted a telework policy.

Recorder’s Office

As of June 15, 2020 the Recorder's Office will be open to the public.

We will Require all visitors to wear a face covering while visiting our office.  A document drop off box will also remain available outside our office for your convenience.

Union County Soil & Water Conservation

Due to concerns over the Coronavirus, the Union Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) will remain closed to the public. Our staff is available by email, phone and by appointment only. Please contact our staff during normal business hours if you have any questions or to schedule an appointment. For an in-person meeting, we ask that you follow all Ohio Department of Health, Center for Disease Control, and Union County Health Department recommendations and guidelines. If you need to drop-off/pickup call 937-642-5871 ext. 3 to schedule.

The Union County Veterans Service Office is restricting public access to the office in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Meaning.......

  • We are not accepting any “Walk-ins”.

  • We are accepting “By Appointments Only”, please call to schedule.

  • The office staff is completing Financial Assistance and VA Compensation Claims.

We are currently transporting Veterans to their VA Clinic and VA Hospital appointments on a “first come, first serve” situation. Meaning....

  • One individual to be transported per vehicle, per trip.
